Pultrusion Operator
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Record daily production data accurately and completely in production sheets, logbooks, MACT books
- Identify material requirements on machines
- Add and thread material as needed
- Proven ability to use measuring devices such as tape measures and gauges
- Ability to understand Spec sheets
- Continually inspect process and troubleshoot with supervision
- Ability to identify scrap
- Efficiently clean machines
QUALIFICATIONS: Experience, Competencies and Education
- Completion of new employee training
- Pass new employee testing
- Proven good attendance
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS OF JOB: This position requires that the employee be able to perform the following physical requirements, with or without reasonable accommodation:
- Long periods of standing and walking while working 8-hour shifts
- Stooping, bending, kneeling
- Lifting up to 40 pounds
WORK ENVIRONMENT: This position requires that the employee be able to work effectively in a work environment involving:
- Manufacturing plant with exposure to resins, glass, and chemicals
