Tea and Truffles in the Gallery

Three regional non-profits are teaming up for a tea and truffle tasting and a lively conversation about food and art. This unique family-friendly event will showcase the current Nourishing and Flourishing exhibit in Create Appalachia’s Kingsport gallery. Each guest is welcome to sample six flavors of Bellafina Chocolates gourmet truffles as they enjoy a cup of premium hand-blended tea, served in full British style by Ren Allen from The Philosopher’s House in Johnson City. As guests sip, sample, and enjoy the art in the gallery, they will learn a little about each non-profit’s work and mission. They will also hear from the exhibit’s guest curator, Jocelyn Mathewes of Eat/Art Space. There will be plenty of room for questions, conversations, and a lively exchange of ideas about food, art, and food as art.
