Project Thanksgiving 2023

WCQR 88.3 will hold an all-day Radiothon event from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Thursday, November 2, to encourage listeners to donate to Project Thanksgiving. A $25 donation will buy a Thanksgiving meal for a family. Listeners can call WCQR at 888-477-5676 to donate during the Radiothon or go directly to projectthanksgiving.org or netfoodbank.org to give to Project Thanksgiving. Project Thanksgiving's primary mission is to provide much-needed Thanksgiving meals to families in our region who face food insecurity during the holiday season. Project Thanksgiving has become a shining example of community unity and support. We owe the success of this campaign to the unwavering commitment of our generous sponsors, donors, dedicated volunteers, and our cherished media partners. Last year alone, we were able to distribute over 6,200 holiday meals to families in need.
